My first book, my first “Blog Post”, my first website…
So many “firsts” lately!
About two years ago, I got into my mind that I wanted to become a “Travel-Photographer”. I love to travel and I’m also passionate about photography so; it seemed like the perfect plan. Little did I know that it would take me this far.
At first I didn’t know how to bring this idea into my reality, but slowly a Master Plan started to take shape in my mind.
My plan was to; Go on an adventure, write about my experiences, practise my art, publish a book and ultimately find a way to turn “all-of-this” into a lifestyle.
Today, I’m not entirely there yet, but I have come a long way. What I consider,;The Beginning Part of My Journey, is Completed.
Finally, my first book, Journey of a Wandering Photographer — Mexico. Is DONE! And I can’t wait to see where it takes me!
What I consider the Second Part is; this website and, by extension, this “Blog”.
What about this “Blog"?
Well, it’s another part of my Master Plan. I never fancied becoming an Influencer, but the idea of a Traveller/Photographer/Journalist is appealing to me. With the help of this “Blog”, I wish to provide insight on my upcoming project, share interesting stories, introduce some of the unique individuals I meet along the way and expose my art. In resume, articles about my unfolding Journey.
I like the “blog format” to me it’s a step back from this ever-evolving world of technology. You actually need to take some time to read and see what the author took the time to publish. I find it to be more personal and not; Forever lost in the sea of infinite post on most social media platforms.
I don’t seek Followers, my goal is simply to share my adventures, to give the readers a moment to experience, and travel with me. Also, I don’t want to become an Influencer, but if I can inspire some to go on their own journey and express themselves through their own mediums, then I’ll be satisfied.
With that said, I’ll confess that the word “Blog” doesn’t resonate with me. It sounds bad to my ears. So, going forward, I’ll refer to this “Blog” as My Journal and those “Blog Posts” will be Journal Entries or Articles. With those words; I’ll feel like a true journalist.

*My goal is to publish once a week or every two weeks, depending on the time I have while I’m travelling, so please bear with me.
As of today I have no specific plans, just a general idea of what it can be.
Again, let me welcome you to this new project; My Journal. I hope that you’ll enjoy those short articles and that you’ll find them worthy of your time.
